Linkchain Gaming is a medium-sized organisation based in the UK. Following a recent cyber security incident involving a disgruntled employee, it is looking to improve its network security and to modernise its enterprise network. During the incident, the disgruntled employee shared their username and password and these were used to access confidential information stored in shared folders on the company network including unannounced intellectual property.

Jordan is a junior developer who is new to the company. He has reported a number of issues, including finding his computer frustrating to use as applications occasionally crash, and as a consequence work is lost. He often receives emails from his line manager and colleagues that contain attachments. Jordan always open these attachments. After completing his 2-week induction, Jordan now works from home full time with very occasional travel to the office when required to attend face-to-face meetings.

- Applications take a long time to load and often freeze during operations

- Network connectivity is intermittent when working from home 

- Some downloaded files do not open
