Non-Technical threats

 Human Error:

This threat can lead to accidental loss of data. This is a loss of data itself rather than a copy which means that the data is lost permently and cannot be retraced. There are many other errors that included such saving files in the wrong location, sending emails to the wrong users with attachements, and accidental changes to documents. Human error were the causes to approximately 90% of data breaches. 

Malicious Employees:

This threat involves users that work within an organization or business that have some type of access to the business data. They tend to use there access levels for malicious intentions. They are also commonly know as turncloacks as a resuslt of social engineering. This type of threat is often diffucult to trace as the employee would be aware of the security procedures which gives them an advantage.

Disguised Criminals:

 This threat involves the use of social engineering to gain access to buildings. This usually involve 2 types, tailgating/piggybacking which involves following someone with acess to go inside the building, and shoulder surfing involves stealing someones confidental information this could be when looking over someone whilst they are entering there PIN.

Natural Disaster:

This threat depends on any environmental or natural disasters, that can affecct the data, and digital system. For example, earthquakes could lead to internet access lose.
